How Do I Be the Bad Guy?

Doesn't he look sweet? Well generally he is, but as we get closer to his second birthday (in around a month) he is getting more and more....unmanageable. Tantrums, stubborn, hitting, bad words (for which I blame his dad...sigh). If he doesn't get his own way he throws a tantrum. He won't listen. Won't come when I call him. He is a happy, sweet little boy, but is testing his limits and is just so darn willful (gee....wonder who he got that from? oops...).

So what do you do? How do you discipline a toddler who really only understands about 60% of what you say? It's a pickle.

Well, the kid's pretty cute. But, don't ever think you can be too liberal with the Gravol; it's on the shelf for a reason.

Also, if that isn't up your alley. Send him my way. The kids love me, but they also know when to be afraid and listen to me. I've made children cry just by looking at them.

When can you take him? I think if I poke enough holes in a box and give him that gravel, I can overnight ship him on greyhound....

*dear child services: I do not mean the above in any way shape or form. Nor do I intend to sell my baby on Craigslist, ebay, kijiji or any other such site*

What a little honey! Consistency is THE key.....and as much as you have to, sometime a time-out is the only way.....be strong, we've got your back!
