Project 365 Week 1

Meant to post this on Sunday, but I forgot.

The drive to work this morning. It's snowing like crazy now, just started when I was leaving for work. It's supposed to go up to 10 degrees celcius tomorrow. I shudder to think of what the roads will be like in a few days.

I forgot to bring anything for lunch today and there is no food here. I'm starving. That sucks.

This song has been running through my head all day. It's beautiful and by my new favourite band. And it touches me deeply. So I thought I'd share.

I hate January and February. It seems that if something is going to go wrong, it's in these months. Winter gets trying and long, money is tight, and the days are grey. Jan and Feb have always been months to "get through" to me. And now here we are again. Maybe something wonderful will happen in the "bad months" this year.....hah. right.

Anyways, here is where I would like to crawl into and stay in until March. I'm here now. And it's quite cozy. If I didn't have to pick up my son in an hour or so I don't think I'd leave until I got hungry. *smile*

My first day back at work. My view from my office, the clouds, the sun.....it's a good view. The little truck is plowing the runway. Moments later a West Jet plane landed, which is a kinda a big deal here in the 'Loops....anyways, a nice gift for the eyes on the first day back at work.
